# Escrow & Download

FiveM Asset Escrow: welche Dateien eines Scripts verschlüsselt sind, was du editieren darfst und wie Updates laufen.

Dein Script kommt als Ordner aus dem Shop — entweder mit offenem Quellcode oder teilweise verschlüsselt (**Asset Escrow**). Was das für deine Arbeit an den Dateien bedeutet, steht auf dieser Seite.

### Woran du siehst, ob dein Script verschlüsselt ist

Auf der Übersichtsseite deines Scripts steht der Wert **Schutz**: „offener Quellcode“ oder „escrow-verschlüsselter Quellcode“. Verschlüsselte Dateien erkennst du zusätzlich daran, dass sie im Editor nur unlesbaren Inhalt zeigen.

### Was du editieren darfst

Was editierbar ist, steht im `fxmanifest.lua` des Scripts unter `escrow_ignore` — typischerweise:

* `config.lua` (bzw. `config/config.lua`) — deine Einstellungen
* `html/`, `web/`, `nui/` — Optik und Texte der Oberfläche
* `*.sql` — Datenbanktabellen
* Locale-/Sprachdateien — Übersetzungen

**Verschlüsselte Scripts nicht überschreiben.** Änderungen an verschlüsselten `server/*.lua`- oder `client/*.lua`-Dateien brechen die Signatur: das Script startet dann nicht mehr und lässt sich nur mit dem Original-Stand aus dem Download reparieren.

### Updates einspielen

#### 1. Config sichern

Kopiere deine editierten Config-Dateien (und die `escrow_ignore`-Dateien) in einen privaten Ordner.

#### 2. Dateien ersetzen

Entpacke den neuen Download und überschreibe den **gesamten Ordner deines Scripts** — sonst bleibt eine Datei aus einem älteren Stand liegen.

#### 3. SQL-Updates einspielen

Prüfe auf der Konfigurations-Seite deines Scripts, ob neue `.sql`-Dateien dazugekommen sind (oft `update*.sql`, `migration.sql`) und spiele sie ein.

#### 4. Testen

Server komplett neu starten (nicht nur `restart`), Console lesen, dann die Grundfunktionen durchklicken.
